Ils étaient installés en arrière de la timonerie à côté des chaloupes. Deux canots identiques étaient posés au dessus du quartier des officiers à babord et à tribord.&lt;br /&gt;-Lors du naufrage, ces deux embarcations n'ont pas pu être mises à la mer, car il n'y avait aucun moyen mécanique de prévu pour le faire.&lt;br /&gt;-Le radeau B de babord est tombé à l'envers offrant un refuge pour 28 hommes qui seront sauvés.&lt;br /&gt;-Le radeau A de tribord est balayé par la mer. Une douzaine de personnes réussiront à s'y hisser.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-Réalisation des canots. Le TITANIC étant " insubmersible" un tel besoin de places n'a pas été pris en compte. À l'échelle 1/200 ème, les rambardes à 5 fils sont pratiquement irréalisables. Je me suis donc limité à 4 fils.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Extrait de mes notes :&lt;br /&gt;- Pour éviter les déformations, les rambardes sont fabriquées reliées par deux. Une gauche et une droite. De la fumée venant des cuisines pouvait s'en échapper.&lt;br /&gt;- Diamètre des cheminées: 7,60 m. ( 2 trains pouvaient s'y croiser. )&lt;br /&gt;- Hauteur de la 0H (semelle de la quille) au sommet des cheminées : 52,50 m.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pour le modèle, les cheminées sont faites de bandes de papier journal encollées autour d'un manchon en bois graissé.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;Le grand dôme vitré de l'escalier avant de première classe.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;IL était situé entre la première et la deuxième cheminée. 18 m de haut, près de 5 m de large. ( Exemple le C14 sur la photo.)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Traverser le bordé à l'aide d'une pointe de 1 mm de diamètre. Cet avant trou empêche la mèche de chasser dans le fil du bois et le hublot est bien en ligne avec les autres.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Mettre un peu de colle dans l'orifice et enfoncer le hublot.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;De nombreux modélistes présentent leur modèle équipé de hublots en laiton brillant. Pour plus de réalisme, je préfère les peindre. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&amp;nbsp;LES FENÊTRES ET PORTES VITRÉES sont fabriquées avec une feuille de rodoïde de 0,5 mm d'épaisseur peinte d'un côté en gris métal.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;À l'aide d'une pointe à tracer, rayer la peinture pour figurer les croisées des fenêtres puis, découper la bande de rodoïde avec un cutter.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Fixer la fenêtre à son emplacement à l'aide d'une &amp;nbsp;petite goutte de cyanolite épaisse. &amp;nbsp; Une coque de Paquebot est faite de tôles brutes jointes avec des rivets apparents en ce qui concerne le TITANIC. Elle n'est pas comparable au glacis d'une coque de compétition.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La photo jointe montre qu'il y a très peu d'enduit sur le bordé.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Temps passé pour le ponçage:&lt;br /&gt;134,5 cm (Longueur de la Maquette) x 0 h 105 au cm =14 heures.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; C'est ma 22ème Maquette. IL me reste donc 41 modèles à réaliser à dater de l'an 2000.....&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Pour le TITANIC, confiant, je me base sur un plan acheté dans &amp;nbsp;un magasin de modèles réduits. ( Je n'ai pas le choix car c'est le seul édité en France.) Je commence la construction de la quille et des membrures. Je pose la première latte de bordé au niveau de la flottaison et constate avec dépit que la ligne d'eau qui se matérialise ne correspond pas à celle du navire.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Ayant commencé cette Maquette avec l'intention de réaliser un beau modèle de référence, je décide d'arrêter les travaux et de me documenter sérieusement. Sans hésiter, je détruis les membrures déjà réalisées.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;C'est alors le début de nombreuses et longues recherches (à l'époque je n'ai pas d'ordinateur.)&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Impossible d'obtenir des plans d'origine. Les obstacles sont nombreux. Je tente de retoucher le plan avec lequel j'ai commencé mais j'abandonne car les défauts sont trop importants.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Ayant réuni de nombreux documents, publications, revues spécialisées, &amp;nbsp;vidéos, et surtout un plan de compartimentage qui me donne la forme de tous les ponts, je décide alors de faire mon propre plan que je termine après 700 heures de recherches, d'études et de dessins. Travail passionnant qui permet de s'imprégner du bateau et de son histoire hors du commun.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Les plans terminés, je recommence la construction et c'est avec bonheur que je vois le "TITANIC" reprendre forme et, 702 heures plus tard, trôner fièrement sur ses balustres, criant de vérité.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;C'est le "TITANIC" retrouvé!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Toutes les recherches, les études, les dessins, la construction du modèle et les photos de détails sont de l'auteur.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;En 1999, suite à plusieurs expositions primées, prenant conscience de la qualité de mes travaux, je présente la Maquette à l'AAMM (Association des Amis du Musée de la Marine Française à Paris.)&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;IL est aussitôt convenu de réaliser une MONOGRAPHIE du TITANIC et de l'éditer.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; La mise à l'eau n'aura duré que 62 secondes. Il sera achevé le 31 mars 1912. C'est alors le plus grand paquebot du monde.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Lors de son voyage inaugural, le 14 avril 1912 à 23h40, le TITANIC heurte un iceberg dans le sud de l'atlantique Nord. Les canots de sauvetage ne peuvent contenir tous les passagers dont une grande partie sera piégée dans le bateau, surtout en 3ème classe.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;IL y aura 1503 morts et disparus, 705 rescapés seront recueillis par le paquebot CARPATHIA commandé par le commandant ROSTRON.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Cette catastrophe marquera un tournant dans la conception et l'exploitation des grands paquebots.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Le TITANIC gît à 3965 mètres de profondeur. Après plusieurs années de recherche, les restes du paquebot seront retrouvés et observés grâce à un robot télécommandé.
